The official construction of Istropolis is beginning. In the first phase at Trnavské Mýto, two office buildings and one residential building will be built, followed later by a cultural and social hall.

The start of construction of Istropolis will be ceremonially launched directly at the construction site on Wednesday, January 28 at 4:00 PM. Visitors can look forward to a special winter open-air concert by the band Hex, as well as children’s workshops and warm refreshments.

The first residential building in Istropolis, Block A, is securing financing from Tatra banka as well as the entry of a minority investment partner, Sandberg Capital.

The new Istropolis project has obtained a final, legally valid building permit for the first three buildings — Istropolis Atrium, Istropolis Tower, and the residential Block A with 122 units — with construction set to begin shortly after the New Year.

Developer Immocap, in cooperation with Slovenská sporiteľňa, released bonds for sale with a nominal value of €1,000, offering a 5.25% annual yield and a maturity of 3.5 years. The total value of the issuance is €25 million. The bonds were completely sold out within just a few days.
